When
the honours were done at first ever India International Coffee
Festival, 2002, Aspinwall had one of its proudest moments. The
International Jury bestowed on Aspinwall the Flavour of India:
Cup of Excellence for Best Monsooned Coffee, a fitting tribute
to our uncompromising product and process quality. |

In the first World
Barista championship, at Monte Carlo, year 2000 a major portion
of the blend that went into the winning coffee prepared by the
Barista representing Solberg & Hansen AS came from the house
of Aspinwall. A feat that is consistently repeated over the
years.
Mr. Trygve Klingenberg, Chief Executive, Solberg & Hansen AS,
Norway had this to say to us in his congratulatory message :
"I wish to congratulate India in general and you in particular
on your performance during the World Conference - 2000 in Monte
Carlo. The blend of Espresso used by the winning Barista had
been produced by us and be proud of yourself! Approximately
50% of that blend comes from Aspinwall!!" |
